Arista Corporation teamed up with ACP to bring to market the first truly affordable industrial Thin Client family - HMI EXPRESS. The family includes both screen-less brick sized mountable clients and industrial panel Thin Clients with 6.4", 8.4", 10.4", 12.1" and 15" displays. Quicker installs with less configuration Lower cost Less maintenance Minimum down-time Compact size Less configuration A 300 MHz National Semiconductor Geode processor powers all members of the HMI EXPRESS family, and provides the horsepower needed to run any Thin Client application. These clients also come standard with one RS-485 and two or three RS-232 serial ports. The secure, screw-in power supply connector assures that there is no chance the unit will come unplugged, even if mounted upside down or in an area of high vibration. With no moving parts, the HMI EXPRESS family is ideal for harsh environments where the user needs the benefits of a Thin Client and a standard Windows user interface but doesn't want the added expense of a special enclosure. The low power requirements and voltages (5 and 12 DC) simplify hazardous area compliance. Operating temperatures range from 32 degrees to 122 degrees Fahrenheit (0~50°C).
