ARP-1717AX Series of Stainless Steel Bezel Panel PCs with Detachable
LCD Monitor and Modular Computer Unit
The ARP-1717AX
series is an all-in-one LCD Panel PC with a detachable computer unit
allowing for easy maintenance and quick upgrades.
FREMONT, CA - August 31, 2004 - Arista
Corporation, a leading industrial PC solutions provider and system
integrator, today introduced the new ARP-1717AX Panel PC with its NEMA
4X Stainless Steel Bezel Panel Mount 17-inch Liquid Crystal Display
(LCD) to Arista's 17-inch all-in-one (LCD) Panel PC line. The
ARP-1717AX has a modular computer unit that is detachable and easily
removed from the display. This provides the user easy maintenance and
the ability to quickly upgrade the unit. With an emphasis on
dependable, safe operation and the ability to seamlessly integrate
into any environment, this panel PC with its intuitive touch screen
interface, is suitable for various industrial environments such as
factory automation.
The ARP-1717AX series is designed for
flexibility, versatility, easy servicing and quick upgradeability.
With a detachable panel mount LCD monitor and modular computer unit, a
variety of configurations are easily achieved. The unit is configured
with Arista's BoxPC-500, powered by a PIII or P4 Single Board Computer
(SBC) providing two ISA and three PCI half-length slots. The unit can
also be configured with the slim, BoxPC-103H featuring an Intel® P4
processor, DC24V or 100~230VAC input power supply and a single PCI
slot. The BoxPC-103H design makes the ARP-1717AX one of the smallest
and most powerful Panel PC on the market.

flexibility of swapping the computer module or LCD display with the
