Industrial Ruggedized 15 Inch LCD Panel Computer is Ideal for Mobile

FREMONT, CA - October 20, 2004 - Arista
Corporation, a leading industrial computer solutions provider and
system integrator has developed a new ruggedized wireless LCD panel
computer, the ARP-2015. The new industrial panel computer is ideal for
quick and easy installation supporting a vast array of applications
such as material handling, warehousing and manufacturing automation.
The front bezel is NEMA 4/12 and IP65 compliant and its strengthened
glass or resistive touchscreen protects the LCD panel from scratching.
It also has an aluminum bezel with a heavy-duty reinforced steel
chassis.
The ARP-2015 panel computer is powered
by an Intel P3 CPU, supports up to 512MB SDRAM and is equipped with an
IEEE 802.11b wireless card. The panel computer can be equipped with an
optional CD-ROM or DVD-CDRW Combo drive. The unit has a 15 inch XGA
(1024 x 768) TFT color LCD supported by a VIA VT8608 integrated Savage
4 AGP 4X Graphic controller with 32MB of shared memory. The ARP-2015
has a 2.5 inch IDE HDD and is equipped with two USB ports, two RS-232
ports and one RJ45 10/100 Ethernet port.
